C’est le monde

It’s the world where we use human beings instead of helping them or being helped by them. Here, we don’t see the emotions but the price. We love to keep changing our words depending upon the situations and time so as to remain the best in front of every one. We slander someone’s dignity and esteem to get close to someone else. We expect to be loved by cribbing about our relationships in front of others. We want to take responsibilities and then crib about the responsibilities. We want to value our ego more than the sentiments by burying the pride.

It’s the world where we think more about the moments which hurt us a lot and waste time on it in lieu of thinking about the beautiful moments which took the best out of us. We want to do everything on our own for our betterment but make others feel that we are the most selfless souls living an ascetic life. We will defend every act of ours and never leave a chance to malign others’ acts. We want to be respected and obeyed and take our own decisions but wouldn’t appreciate if anyone else does the same.

It’s the world where we go against our own values to get laid and then change the values so not to regret. We speak of the ethics bestowed upon us by our parents, to everyone and do everything against it when no one watches us. We are more concerned about what people say or will say rather than what we say to ourselves.

We, the greatest and the most intelligent creatures in the solar system, are so engrossed with our own self that we are least bothered about what we are doing to the world.

It’s the world which was meant to be peaceful and lively and energetic. But it’s the world…
